Hailing from Munich, Panic Girl alias Martha Plachetka dedicated her life to music from an early age. After receiving classical training in piano, guitar, and singing she got deep into the production of electronic music. If you visit her place, it is hard to not fall over a big mess of cables and different production gear like the Marxophone, Doepfer, Stylophone, or Virus synthesizer. Influenced by a wide range of music like 70s psychedelic, progressive rock, trip hop, as well as drum and bass and classical, Panic Girl delivers a deep mixture of electronica and trip hop. Being dead serious about her art, she not only writes her own lyrics and music, but as well produces all recordings on her own.

Panic Girl’s debut “Burn And Rise” is an outstanding and versatile piece of music. Genrewise it can mainly be described as a rich mix of different electronic styles with a deep trip hop angle. Starting with the anthemic “Midnight”, listeners get dragged into Panic Girls’ disturbed world from the first second. As Panic Girl not only wrote all titles but also produced every detail of it on her own, it is plain to see that she is dead serious about her art and exactly knows, where she is going.

Seratone N is something that everyone can enjoy. We touch upon many different styles and genres. Since November of 2008 Sarah (the lead vocalist), Kim (guitarist/producer), and Derrick (percussionist) have been getting together and spending looong wonderful nights creating hours and hours worth of music. From the beginning everything just fell into place and molded together. As we continued to post our music we continued to get wonderfully positive feedback from many people, many of YOU, and we are so very grateful for it. On May 7th 2009 we did our first live broadcast, we got the chance for a 45 min live show on WPKN (out of Bridgeport Connecticut) and have been invited to come back and do more shows. (a recording of this show will be posted soon) We are in the process of trying to arrange some live performances for the next couple of months, so if you’d like to see Seratone N perform LIVE somewhere in the Long Island NYC area, pass the word around and get us a decent crowd!!!
